 FAQ

What does a Toning Mist do? How should I use it?

Use a Toning Mist between your Cleanser and Moisturiser. Nourish Toning Mists work with your skin's natural moisturising system to balance pH levels and close pores, preparing for moisturisation. Spray directly on to your face after cleansing. A spritz is also a great way to refresh your skin  (and your energy levels) in the summer or after a long day.

I have oily skin,  do I still need a moisturiser?

The Nourish Balance Range is a good choice for you! Balance Essential Moisturiser contains a peptide to balance serum (oil) levels and return your skin to equilibrium.

What skin care regime do you have for mature skin?

All of our ranges contain great anti-ageing ingredients such as peptides, essential vitamins and minerals - clinically proven to reduce wrinkles. Choose the regime according to how your skin feels; fairly normal (Radiance), shiny in places (Balance), in need of some hydration (Protect) or a bit sensitive (Relax) and top it up with an anti-ageing boost from Argan Skin Rescue and/or Argan Skin Renew. These skin heroes strengthen the skin's structure and encourage cell regeneration to help combat those wrinkles.

Are Nourish products organic?

All of our ingredients are natural, organic or plant derived. We want to make it really easy for our customers to find out what is in the products they use, so on each of our products you will find information about the percentage of that product that is organic. In our ingredients listing, we have even put an asterisk by the organic products. You can rest safe in the knowledge that all of our products have been safety tested and approved for use according to the 2013 EEC Cosmetic Regulations.

What is the Soil Association?

The UK's largest organic certification body, the Soil Association certify over 70% of all organic products.

Do Nourish products contain parabens?

No, we steer clear of the use of chemicals such as synthetic colours, TEA (triethanolamine), DEA (diethanolamine), parabens, phenoxyetol, sulfates, mineral oils, PEGs (polyethylene glycol) and silicones. We use organic, plant derived, scientifically tested ingredients to enhance and nurture skin.

Is your packaging environmentally friendly? Can I recycle it?

All of our outer boxes are made with cardboard that is certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC), who promote ethical management of forests around the worlds, and are recyclable where facilities exist.

How long will my products last once I have opened them? Do they have a shelf life?

Each Nourish product features a 'period after opening' logo on the packaging, which tells you how quickly you should use it up after first use.

Are all the products suitable for vegans?

Yes! Our whole range is certified by the Vegan Society as we don't use any animal products, and we do not test on Animals.

What should I use on my skin at night?

Argan Skin Rescue, Argan Skin Renew and all the serums are perfect night care products. The Argan range is ideal for plumping and balancing the skin, or for a hydration application, apply your chosen serum.

Are the products safe to use in pregnancy?

Nourish products are all safe to use in pregnancy. If you are pregnant, always check with your doctor or midwife before beginning any new skin care routine.

Why do you say skin condition and not skin type?

Skin has a lot of varying factors - changing weather and temperatures, dirt and pollutants, stress, hormonal changes. Sometimes this means that your skin might appear different to how it usually does. For example you might usually have pretty normal skin but a stressful time might bring you out in blemishes and make your skin oilier in places. Or in the summer you may find your skin becomes drier because of the warmer temperatures and air conditioning. So when we talk about your skin condition, we mean "how your skin is today", to help you choose the right products for you ...right now.

What does “advanced cellular perfection' mean?

At Nourish, we want to work with the skin's natural processes to optimise and balance its own metabolic systems. In a nutshell, we want to use vitamins, minerals and plant actives to optimise skin health and enable your skin to be the best it can be.
